The Australian Rainforest Foundation began in 1996. They are an incorporated
not-for-profit company with a Board of Unpaid, Directors who play an active
role in the direction of the organisation.
A streamlined office and its staff is managed on a day-to-day basis by a
Chief Executive Officer from the Foundation’s Head Office with Interpretive
Centre and Shop, in Cairns, Queensland, Australia.
A Conservation Officer is resident in the Daintree at the ARF nursery.
The ARF is dedicated to education, research and habitat rehabilitation for
Australia’s tropical rainforests.
